Dr. K. Narayanaswamy, the Vice chancellor of the Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R Medical University visited Government Thiruvannamalai Medical College and Hospital. He met the Prefinal year students of the batch 2022 and had an interactive session with them. He talked about the students fear of having to study six subjects in the final year after a comparatively relaxed Prefinal year with only 2 subjects. He reassured the students that it is very much easy to handle since he would ensure adequate holidays in between exams to give students time to prepare effectively. He also talked about the effort taken by TNMGRMU to actively involve MBBS students in research. He explained the importance of getting into research from the UG period and about the program they are planning to conduct to ensure a wider outreach of this message
